Rory joined HCB Solicitors in March 2011 as part of the Restructuring & Insolvency team. Prior to joining HCB Solicitors, Rory trained and qualified into the Business Recovery & Insolvency team at a highly regarded Birmingham law firm, focusing on both corporate and personal insolvency matters including negotiating sale and purchase agreements and antecedent transaction litigation.
Rory has experience in the following areas:
- All contentious and non contentious areas of insolvency.
- Company and asset purchase and sales.
- Anti-avoidance litigation including actions for misfeasance, preferences and undervalue transactions.
- Section 216 IA 1986 “re-use of a company name” issues and directors’ disqualification.

- Commercial Litigation.
