Mark Noble joined HCB Solicitors in January 2011 having formerly been a partner in a highly regarded Birmingham insolvency team. His past successes include:
- A £10m misfeasance claim against former directors of a PLC on behalf of a Top 10 accountancy firm
- Recovery proceedings in a compulsory liquidation with no apparent assets on behalf of a Solihull IP, resulting in 100p in the £ plus interest for creditors. The related criminal prosecution report is at: www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Crim/2009/194.html
- Regular bankruptcy work for office holders in three of the Big Four firms.
- A Section 423 claim to reverse a property transaction that pre-dated the bankruptcy by over 10 years
Mark qualified as a solicitor in 2000 having trained with Ferdinand Kelly in Birmingham, where he remained for a further year following qualification. He was heavily involved in the case of Clark Fixing Limited –v- Dudley MBC [2001] EWCA Civ 1898, acting for two companies in a multi-million pound damages claim following a fire in adjacent unoccupied premises owned by the council. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing guitar, cycling, hillwalking and scrambling and has a particular passion for the Lake District. In 2009, against all the odds, he took up half-marathon running. He is a keen follower of Newcastle United.
