Katie graduated from Staffordshire University in 2008 with a 2.1 degree in Law and Business Studies and a commendation in Legal Practice. She is currently working towards a Masters degree in Practice Management.
The majority of her professional training took place in the employment law department at Hadens and she chose to qualify into this vast, ever changing area of law.
Before becoming a Solicitor (she hates the word “lawyer”), Katie worked in the motor trade for six years, working in both a car dealership and a vehicle remarketing company. Her experience and intricate knowledge has helped the firm to achieve successful results for our motor trade clients.
Katie deals with all kinds of matters from advising on compromise agreements and company restructures to acting for clients in tribunal proceedings. She also enjoys dispute resolution without the need for formal proceedings and offers pragmatic advice without unnecessary jargon.
Away from the office Katie enjoys foreign holidays and weekends away. She is a qualified scuba diver and is most happy when the sharks are out to play (which is useful when working with lawyers!). In her spare time she enjoys Zumba and building her shoe collection!
